BISHOP JEFFREY J.DAVIS
Bishop Jeffrey J. Davis was born February 4, 1970 to Mr. and Mrs. Willie Mack & Fannie Davis. He is a man after God’s own heart, thirsty for souls and hungry for righteousness. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Word Works Church, with headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. Bishop Jeffrey Davis was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in the church. As a teenager, Davis served his local assembly as Minister of Music. It was at the young age of 20 that Davis was called to minister God’s Word. His first sermon, “Who Are You Going to Serve?”, ignited a spiritual fire that spread across the country. For six years, Davis extensively traveled the United States preaching the gospel and winning souls to Christ.
Bishop Jeffrey Davis founded Gospel Truth Ministries on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois in 1996. In May of 2012 under the unction and direction of the Holy Spirit the ministry was renamed “The Word Works Church”. It is the mission of The Word Works Church to be a place where the hurting, hopeless and discouraged can receive healing, hope and encouragement. Bishop Davis serves on the Bishops Council of Grace International Fellowship as a Founding Father and the Bishop of Finance under the Honorable Bishop R.J. Burt of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to, Bishop Davis served as the 2nd Assistant and Bishop of Protocol. Bishop Davis is best known for being a bishop with a heart for all people. Bishop Davis has a heart especially for pastors. He is committed to mentoring young shepherds and nurturing newly established ministries.
In December of 2013, Bishop Davis released his first of many inspiring works with his inaugural book “I Was Born to Do This” and launched Life Infusion, Inc. to encourage people to pursue their life’s passion, achieve their dreams, and fulfill their destiny. Bishop Jeffrey J. Davis has been ministering for over 25 years and pastoring for over 20 years. During his walk with Christ, he has been blessed to be married to Prophetess Jacqueline Davis for over 22 years. Together, they are the proud parents of Nephiteria and Jaylin.
Pastor Jacqueline Davis was born April 27, 1967 and raised in Chicago, IL. In 1985 she graduated from the Chicago Public School System. She worked in the Corporate Industry for Motorola Corporation and the United States Postal Service.
She was raised in church where she served in the choir faithfully. On June 27, 1992 she married the man that helped change her life, Bishop Jeffrey Davis. She is the mother of two daughters: Nephiteria and Jaylin. She is the eldest of four siblings. From 1992 to 1996 she traveled extensively across the United States serving in the evangelical ministry with her husband.
In May of 1996, God led her husband Bishop Jeff to start Gospel Truth Life Changing Ministries. It was then that Prophetess Jackie discovered her passion for ministering to the needs of the total woman.
On July 27, 2004, Prophetess Jackie heard and accepted her call from God into ministry to the office of Prophet during the 2004 Grace International Fellowship Conference.
In January 2006, she was licensed, ordained and appointed to serve along side her husband as the Pastor of G.T.L.C.M.
Prophetess Jackie currently serves as the Women's Ministry Leader. She has an overwhelming desire to see every woman live their life to the fullest potential and to walk in wholeness. Prophetess Jackie always proclaims to the women that she ministers to that "Until you learn to TRULY love yourself you can not love anyone else."
As Prophetess Jackie ministers the uncut Prophetic word from the Lord, her favorite scripture is: I Corinthians 2:9 "But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
